MassanとHiroshi Nakamuraによる音楽ユニット、knowone(ノウワン)のChapter 2、第2章がはじまる。

ニューシングル”Part of me feat.aimi”が、2024年2月16日にリリース。

”もし明日死んでしまうとしたら、あなたにもう一度会いたい”という、大事な人を想う歌。フィーチャリングに、新鋭R&Bシンガー、aimiを迎えた。

いろいろあった2020年からのこの時代、knowone 2人の更なる音楽性の拡がりも作品に反映されている。Massanは、NakamuraEmi、XinU、RYO-Z (from RIP SLYME)など多彩なアーティストとの共演を重ね、Hiroshi Nakamuraは、東京2020オリンピック開閉会式、パラリンピック開会式の音楽監督補佐を務め、i-depには新メンバーを迎え、ニューシングル”FEVER”をリリースした。

この曲を、大事な人を想いながら、大切な人と一緒に、聴いてください。

The second chapter has began for “knowone,” a music unit consisting of Massan and Hiroshi Nakamura.

The new single “Part of me feat. aimi” will be released on February 16, 2024.

The song is about thinking of someone special, “If I couldn’t see you tomorrow, I would want to see you today”. featuring aimi, an up-and-coming R&B singer.

Both member is very active recently – Massan has performed with a variety of artists including NakamuraEmi、XinU、RYO-Z (from RIP SLYME), and Hiroshi Nakamura was the assistant music director for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paralympics, and i-dep welcomed a new member to the group for the new single ”FEVER”.

2021年ファーストアルバム”TRY AND ERA”を発表し、R&B, J-pop, UK garage, House musicとジャンルを縦横無尽に駆け巡るknowone(ノウワン)の魅力を世の中に拡げることとなった。

2022年第一弾シングルとしてリリースされる”beleive in”は、knowoneの初期セッションでストックされていた曲であったが、ウクライナをはじめとした世界情勢の不安定さを目の当たりとすることとなり、故郷を追われ彼の地で苦しんでいる人々に気持ちが届くようにと、改めてレコーディングを行った。

ミッドテンポのバラードとしてJ-pop的な装いでありながら、Hiroshi Nakamuraによるミニマムかつアシッドなトラックの上でロングトーンで再生への想いを届けるMassanの歌声。

“faraway”(はるかかなた)の空にも、この願いが届くように。

The first single to be released in 2022, ” beleive in” was originally stocked in the early sessions of knowone, but when we saw the instability in Ukraine and other parts of the world, The song was recorded again in the hope that it would reach the people who have been forced to flee their homeland and are suffering in the region.

A mid-tempo ballad in a J-pop style, with long tones of Massan’s voice delivering his thoughts on the minimal and acidic track by Hiroshi Nakamura.

We hope that this wish will reach the skies of “faraway”.

「ずっと探していたんだろうか」印象的な歌い出しから、不安の中で見つけるだろう、いつか射し込む光を感じる。「きっとあっという間なんだろうか」2020年の今の気分にシンクロする歌詞が続く。

日本語歌詞であるにもかかわらず、洋楽曲のように聴こえてしまう、独特なMassanのフロウと、匠、Hiroshi NakamuraによるLo−Fiなハウストラックに身を任せているうちに、なにか大事なものを見つけたように思える、不思議な力を持った歌だ。
